We are currently recruiting for the last positions available to join our team. All opportunities are short, fixed-term contracts during Summer 2022 and require a range of skill sets and experience levels, with many suitable for those looking to get their first experience in the creative industries. We are keen to find engaged, passionate and creative individuals based in Birmingham, UK and are open to applications from all.

Assistant Manager - Catering

Birmingham Ceremonies are looking for an Assistant Manager – Catering to support the Ceremonies Operations Manager – Catering both the Opening and Closing Ceremonies.

This role is based in Birmingham and will suit someone with extensive local knowledge of the area, community, and location. This role will provide support on the Ceremonies, with a focus on delivering the Catering requirements for the Ceremonies.

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and a strong leader with excellent organisation, office, and communication skills. A passion for and experience in live events and/or theatre is essential.

This role is full time, based in Birmingham, where own accommodation is required. Candidates must have current right to work in the UK for their application to be considered.

Operations Coordinator – Health & Safety

Birmingham Ceremonies Ltd. (BCL) are looking for an Operations Coordinator – Health & Safety to work with the Ceremonies Health & Safety team in the delivery of the Opening & Closing Ceremonies.

This role is based in Birmingham and will suit someone with extensive local knowledge of the area, community and location.

The ideal candidate is someone who is self-motivated with excellent organisation, office and communication skills. A passion for and experience live events and/or theatre is essential.

Coordinator – Cleaning, Catering & Waste

Birmingham Ceremonies are looking for a Coordinator – Cleaning, Catering & Waste to support the Ceremonies – Cleaning, Catering & Waste team across both the Opening and Closing Ceremonies. In addition to this coordinator role, the team consists of the Operations Manager and two Assistant Managers who cover the Stadium and the Rehearsal Venues.

This role is based in Birmingham and will suit someone with extensive local knowledge of the area, community, and location. This role will provide support on the Ceremonies, with a focus on delivering the Cleaning, Catering & Waste requirements for the Ceremonies.

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, with excellent organisation, office, and communication skills. A passion for and experience in live events and/or theatre is desirable but not essential.

Coordinator – Transport & Fleet

Birmingham Ceremonies are looking for a Transport & Fleet Coordinator – to support the Ceremonies Operations Manager – Transport & Fleet across both the Opening and Closing Ceremonies.

The Transport & Fleet Coordinator will be responsible for administration of the Transport & Fleet team ensuring that accurate records are kept and filed appropriately in line with guidelines set down by the organisation.

This role is based in Birmingham and will suit someone with local knowledge of the area, community, and location. This role will focus on supporting the delivery of Transport & Fleet requirements for the Ceremonies.

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated with excellent office, and communication skills. A passion for and experience in live events and/or theatre.
